Sarah Palin has been a top target of the Democrats since she ran as Senator John McCain’s vice presidential candidate. They lost the election, and she has since resigned as governor of Alaska due to the continued onslaught of complaints by Democrat operatives. So NOW why are the Democrats so steamed?

Many of us have been wondering about the administration’s decision to rescind Exxon’s leases at Point Thomson with no further explanation than Tom Irwin’s, “I don’t trust them.” Now that Exxon has started to fight back there’s only one thing to do.

On August 2nd, the Alaska State Senate will vote whether to support Governor Palin’s Alaska Gasline Inducement Act (AGIA). This will be the last hurdle to create a contractual relationship with TransCanada, a Canadian pipeline company, to do the preliminary paperwork and accept shipping commitments from gas companies.
